The Canon Powershot A610 is a 5MP camera with a Digic II image processor, based on VxWorks operating system.

The CHDK firmware add-on is available for the Canon PowerShot A610 digital camera.

Note about the different Firmwares[edit | edit source]

Cameras with the 1.00d firmware can/must use the CHDK version for 1.00e - the autobuild already just copies this, so when you have a 1.00d cam you will find YOUR version in the autobuild.

Development is happening in the 1.00e tree, then compiled and just renamed for the 1.00d people.
